All sounds a little scary, if you ask me

It can feel like that when your in the fire

And you’re being held in a crucible

That goes into a hot fire

The fire makes all the impurities rise

The process of the fire is repeated

You are shaken up, until all the dross comes to the surface

Now, don’t get me wrong

This isn’t about being perfect

Because on this side of eternity, that’s never going to happen

Period.

This is about unshakeable faith

Hebrews 12 tells us that

…we receive a Kingdom which cannot be shaken…and our God is a consuming fire…

The world is a shaky place

But if we trust in God and His unfailing love

He will refine the fire which we carry within

And turn it into an unshakeable faith

Psalm 16:8 says

‘I have set the Lord before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Your faith is of great value

More valuable than gold

It’s not comfortable being in the fire

Letting go of things

And the shaking is never easy

But

Doesn’t your heart yearn for something more?

Something greater than where you currently are in your faith?

People are attracted to unshakeable faith

They’ll want to know your story

Of how you rose above your circumstances

Of how you became a warrior, who was forged in the fire

They’ll see that it’s worth the struggle

That your faith is of great value to you and to the God that you cherish

Because you went through the refiner’s fire

And came out the other side

With an unshakeable faith
