Can you believe it?

2017 is coming to a close

And we are heading into 2018?

Which will be my third year of blogging, by the way

Really?

Yep.

Darn tootin!

I believe 2018 is going to be a great year for all of us

So, prepare yourselves for your best year ever!

I always seek God on what He wants me to say through my blog

And He always gives me a word

I believe the word He’s given us for 2018 is

PREPARE

Whenever a ballet dancer is ready to start a move, the teacher says, “Prepare”

I believe God is our teacher, and He’s saying to us, “Prepare”

Prepare to move in readiness for what He has in store

Prepare to be vigilant and adjust to the changes

You need to make for your promise to come to pass

When you prepare for something, you’re getting ready

You anticipate the change

I believe that God has been building the foundations of your faith these past two years

As I’ve written my blog posts

Discovering your IDENTITY was the focus in 2016

RISE became our mantra in 2017

And now we need to PREPARE for 2018

I believe that Romans 5:3-5 will be our foundational Scripture for the new year ahead of us

I truly believe that God has laid the groundwork

There is more to come, my friend

And I’m excited!

2018 is going to be your best year ever!

You have been patient for His promises

You’ve been hemmed in with troubles

And that patience, through the tough times

Has forged in you the tempered steel of virtue

You have now awoken and are alert

For everything God has in store for you

So, He needs you to PREPARE

He needs you to let Him be the Author of your Faith

And write Truth into your story

To let Him heal the shame, disappointments and failures

That had a stronghold over you

Lies from the enemy that defined you

But now, dear friend you know your IDENTITY

And you have learnt to RISE

So, if you want a safe, comfortable 2018

Then don’t read my blog posts anymore

I’m serious

Close your computer down now and walk away

But, on the other hand

If you’re ready to step out into the glorious unknown

Then GET READY

And PREPARE to be amazed!
